Folktandvården's Management Staff

Folktandvården Region Jönköping is looking for a business developer for the Unit for Innovation and Knowledge Development – a role for you who want to combine research, education, and business development in a socially important organization.

About the Role

As a business developer, you are a key person in the work to develop and strengthen Folktandvården's research, education, and improvement efforts. You work closely with colleagues in the unit, research leaders, subject representatives, managers, and the business at large to translate strategies and needs into concrete improvements in the clinical everyday life. The role combines a strategic perspective with operational implementation. You:

• coordinate and develop educational initiatives
• contribute to strengthening the conditions for clinical research
• analyze processes and identify areas for development and improvement
• project manage change and improvement initiatives
• act as a hub between educators, researchers, and the business

You facilitate dialogues and workshops, lead improvement projects, support researchers and educational leaders, and inspire systematic and sustainable improvement work.

Your Workplace

Folktandvården Region Jönköping has the overall responsibility for dental care in the region. With around 700 employees, we are the country's fourth largest public dental care organization. The operations include 26 general dental clinics, specialist dental care at the Dental Institute with all nine dental specialties, and a national competence center for rare dental conditions. We combine business acumen with our mission as a public healthcare provider and work long-term for good oral health and high quality in care.

Innovation and knowledge development is part of Folktandvården's management staff and is a cross-professional and forward-looking unit with competencies in research, education, IT, knowledge management, project management, patient safety, and quality development. Here, you will find close collaboration, high engagement, and good opportunities to influence. The unit is led by an experienced manager, and you will have close dialogue with Folktandvården's management group.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• experience in business development and change work within healthcare and/or higher education
• relevant higher education of at least a bachelor's degree
• further education in project management and/or quality work within healthcare, or alternatively, a doctoral education

You have a good understanding of the complexity of healthcare and the ability to balance patient safety, quality, and efficiency. You work in a structured and analytical way and are driven to develop sustainable processes that simplify everyday life for both the business and employees. You are confident in leading and driving development work in complex environments and have a genuine interest in change management. You create participation, communicate clearly, and build trust in collaboration with different professions. You are attentive, patient, and have a holistic perspective in prioritization and decision-making. A B driver's license is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
